These models cater to driving enthusiasts seeking dynamic handling without sacrificing daily usability.

The 420i’s 20i tuning delivers 135kW (184hp) and 270Nm, prioritizing fuel economy for urban driving while maintaining responsive throttle behavior. In contrast, the 428i’s 28i tune ups the ante to 180kW (245hp) and 350Nm, enabling spirited acceleration and highway passing power. Both variants pair with an 8-speed automatic transmission (8AT), with xDrive all-wheel drive optional on certain trims to enhance traction in diverse conditions.

As sport-focused derivatives of the 3 Series, the 4 Series features a lower ride height, stiffer suspension, and quicker steering ratios. The Gran Coupe’s four-door layout blends coupe-like styling with practical rear-seat access, while convertible models offer open-air driving thrills. The N20 engine’s twin-scroll turbocharger and Valvetronic technology optimize power delivery across the rev range, making these 4 Series models stand out as efficient yet engaging performers in BMW’s lineup.
