Recently, the Cologne Game Show 2024 held in Cologne, Germany closed successfully. According to the official news, this year's Cologne Game Show broke the previous record in all aspects

 

 

In terms of player participation, this year's Cologne Game Show attracted more than 335,000 visitors from more than 120 countries and regions, and more than 1,400 exhibitors from 64 countries and regions. The opening night live broadcast was viewed more than 40 million times, and the total number of views of the online program of the game show reached 310 million times.

Gerald Böse, CEO of Messe Köln, said in a statement: “The Cologne Game Show once again proved its unrivaled global reach and importance as the world's leading event for the gaming industry. The scale of the trade show's exhibitors, on-site visitors, and online gamer participation surpassed last year's records, and their enthusiasm united gamers around the world to drive innovation and collaboration in the gaming industry in an unprecedented way.”

Meanwhile, the devcom Developer Conference, held in conjunction with the 2024 Cologne Game Show, also recorded its highest attendance to date, with more than 5,000 people attending, a 45 percent increase from 2023.

devcom is the largest game developer conference in Europe, with hundreds of industry-leading speakers bringing the latest gaming knowledge to share each year, and the Indie Game Awards awards. It is reported that a total of 1,300 exhibitors from the Cologne Game Show applied to participate in this year's conference; more than 350 developers gave presentations, 100 more than last year; in addition, there were 17 stages inside the convention, and speakers conducted more than 210 keynote seminar sessions; the show hosted representatives from 1,660 companies from 83 countries, a mix of small indie and large companies.
