"Death Stranding" Reaches Over 20 Million Players, "Death Stranding 2" on the Horizon

Kojima Productions announced via its official blog that the cumulative number of players of "Death Stranding" has exceeded 20 million. This includes sales of the game, the PC version, and those who have played through subscription services.

"Death Stranding" was first released on November 8, 2019, for the PS4 platform. It then came to PC (Steam and Epic) in July 2020 and to PS5 in September 2021. Subsequently, it was ported to macOS, Xbox Series X|S, and Amazon Luna. The sequel, "Death Stranding 2", is set to be released on June 26, 2025, exclusively for the PS5. Fans of the series are eagerly awaiting the new installment, which is expected to bring more of the unique gameplay and narrative elements that made the first game so popular.
